This site is about the things that are important to me. It gives me a voice to say the things I want to say and to display pictures and music where I can't fully describe what I'm feeling. This site is my way of showing my deep love for family and family history.
I have learned that in order to better understand who we are we need to know those who have lived before us. We all have our quirks and reasons for doing the things we do. I go beyond accepting why I do the things I do - I need to know why I do them - where did I learn them?
In doing my own family research I've learned a lot about the generations before me. I was particularly interested in the women and how they dealt with their lives. From them I was able to learn from their mistakes and from their successes.
This site is also for my friends, whom without them, like my family, I wouldn't be where I'm at today.
Basically, this site is a celebration of Life.
