My passion is writing about anything of interest to me. My passion is my family & friends and doing anything to promote their achievements or to help them achieve their goals, & dreams.

As I work on tweaking my own career and bringing my vision to fruition I will also continue to revise this website to reflect my vision.  I am interested in many different areas; which will be presented here. Please take time to review my pages and hopefully you will find something of interest that causes you to return time after time.

This is a picture of the 92 acre farm I grew up on.
I had the freedom to roam wherever I wanted to. This is where I learned to appreciate nature and history.

The farmhouse was built in 1848. I often wondered
if the walls could talk what stories would
they tell?

My father retired from farming in 1986 and sold the farm. The owners then sold the farm to a local congregation around 2005.The house and barn were torn down. A church, softball fields, and a walking path replaced the area where crops once grew and pastures where cows grazed.

I will never forget the days I stood on the porch and listened to rain ping off the tin roof or hearing the crickets sing on warm summer evenings.

I am very fortunate to have experienced life on a farm and will cherish the memories I have growing up there.

My profession is always to be alert, to find God in nature, to know God's lurking places, to attend to all the oratorios and the operas in nature.

There is a way that nature speaks, that land speaks. Most of the time we are simply not patient enough, quiet enough, to pay attention to the story. Linda Hogan

Andrew Wyeth (July 12, 1917 - January 16, 2009

I mentioned above, Andrew Wyeth's painting Christina's World was given to me for inspiration. I cherish that painting very much. A friend of mine often tells me when they see that painting they are reminded of the farm I grew up on.

Thank you Mr. Wyeth for the gift of art you have given us. May you rest in peace.
