J. Edgar Hoover became head of the FBI in the 1920s. In 1933, he was on the verge of losing his job when the Kansas City Massacre occurred.

The Iditarod Alaska Race has held my attention for many years. I admire the perserverence of the racers and the love they show to their team of dogs. The Iditarod is called "The Last Great Race". Mushers and their team run through some of the most difficult terrain in remote areas of Alaska. The race unofficially begins in Anchorage and ends in Nome. Total miles ran within 14 days is over 1000 miles.
